Servos – the heart of every RC system
Servos are a central component of the RC system and form the basis of every remote-controlled model. They are responsible for transmitting the control commands from the transmitter to the model precisely and reliably.
Connected via the steering linkage, RC servos convert stick or rotary movements on the transmitter directly into steering movements on the vehicle. In RC combustion engine vehicles, servos are also used as throttle servos: they control both the throttle valve of the carburetor and the brake.
This version has enormous positioning force, which can reach up to 62 kg when connected directly to a 3S or 4S LiPo battery, all at a speed of 0.092 seconds! In addition, the servo is dustproof and waterproof (IP67) and can therefore be used in all weather conditions.
Our “Crawler Spec. Servos” are mainly used in 1:8 and 1:10 crawlers or other heavy vehicles that require a lot of power on the steering axle.
